WackyCatures Go Political

As we get closer to the November presidential elections, the WackyCatures have decided to lend themselves to the top three candidates.

Our TIP of the Day:
It's easier to work on a headshot with less clutter in the background.  Choose an image showing the clear features of the person.

Question from Teresa

Q: I would like to learn how to draw caricatures and/or use photoshop to create them. I am on dialup and I can not view your youtube video - can't download because of the transfer issues. Do you have something else that is available online where I could just read how to do it? Any help would be appreciated.

A: Thank you for your interest in our Caricatures, Teresa! We like to clarify that all caricatures made by BroadPrints (including the wackycatures) are drawn by hand, not with a computer.

WackyCatures.com, a FREE site which was launched only a few days ago, will be featuring step-by-step instructions on how to transfer a photo of a head to a wackycature plus other photo-editing tips, and these will be available soon. The YouTube video tutorial is still in the works and is not available at this time.

Should you wish BroadPrints.com to place a photo of a head on a caricature, the cost is only $8.00 per head. Just email the following:
1. Name of the wackycature that you picked
2. A photo, preferably a good headshot, of the person. The person's head should be clearly visible in the photo.

BroadPrints will send you a PayPal invoice upon receiving your order. And the wackycature, complete with the new head, will be ready withing 24 hours. You will be receiving the final image in JPEG format, around 8x10 inches at150 dpi, ready for printing!

We Need Your Head!

The WackyCatures are here! And they all have one message - GIVE US A HEAD!

At WackyCatures.com, you may download caricatures for FREE for your personal use - the only catch is that their heads are missing. And if you know a little about the ART of photo editing, you may easily add a head to the wackycature to give it a new identity. Then you can use it for your website, invitations, wallpaper, posters, scrapbooks, and for your other creative endeavors.
In this blog, we will give you some step-by-step instructions on how to do-it-yourself with the help of a photo editing software. The Adobe Photo Deluxe or PhotoShop are great, if you have one of those. But if you are both artistically challenged and don't care much about computers , you may always ask for some professional help - and BroadPrints.com (the creator of WackyCatures) can help you out. BroadPrints charges only $8 to place a photo of a head to a wackycature.

We'll be back soon!
